
ABOUT ME
I am a first year graduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Currently, I am pursuing Masters in Computer Science. I work at the Center for Vision, Cognition, Learning and Autonomy (VCLA Lab) at UCLA under the guidance of Arjun Akula and Prof. Song-Chun Zhu. My areas of interest include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision and Data Analytics.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERN, CISCO INDIA
January 2018 - June 2018
Automated Power Management and REP Configuration modules in Polaris Web-UI using Python and Selenium.
Generated a topology and created a test plan for automation of substation network for Industrial IOT applications using RACE and pyATS.
DATA ANALYTICS INTERN, GENPACT INDIA
May 2017 - August 2017
Analysed helpdesk efficiency using Sentiment Analysis to gauge customer satisfaction, Topic Modelling and Semantic Text Similarity to analyse similar queries and predict solutions using Python, NLTK, JavaScript and Microsoft PowerBI.
Designed an informative dashboard with real-time statistics of help-desk performance, including agent performance, call centre performance, analysis on types of queries and customer satisfaction.

PROJECTS
To provide a tangible showcase of my work, I’ve include short descriptions of some of my projects.

SEMANTIC SEGMENTATION OF HUMAN BODY USING GAN
Developed a system to semantically segment an image of human body using Generative Adversarial Networks. Generator uses Resnet34 encoder and bilinear interpolation decoder, and the discriminator is a CNN with Conv2D, LeakyRELU, BatchNorm2D and Sigmoid as layers. Achieved an accuracy of 77% on the Look Into Person (LIP) Dataset.

GYNOCARE
Developed a system that uses geo-spatial governance and information communication technology for disease-mapping and e-surveillance for monitoring general healthcare of pregnant women.
Launched a mobile application titled “GynoCare” to collect health-related data of pregnant women clients.

VEHICLE COUNTING AND CLASSIFICATION
Developed a system to analyse vehicles on roadways to handle traffic flow, reduce vehicle accidents and traffic peak times using digital image processing techniques to determine the count of vehicles and classify them.

VOICE-CONTROLLED MAGIC CHESS BOARD
Built an automated chessboard where pieces are moved according to the instructions given by the players.
